Weston College held it’s annual staff conference for teachers, managers and administrators along with many of our partners at the newly refurbished Winter Gardens in October 2017. This year’s theme was Impact for Excellence and was led by the keynote speaker – author and Impact guru Simon Tyler.

Simon spoke about the work in his many books but particularly focusing on “The “Impact” Book” and how and why to maximise your Impact at work. Staff were also able to participate in a range of workshops to enhance their professional development and the event ended with us celebrating the outstanding work of our staff with our annual awards.

It has been a busy and successful year for Weston College OLS and the big winners in this year’s awards included the team at Erlestoke who were celebrated not only for their progression to Ofsted “Good” but also for their fantastic work in promoting Literacy through the Reading Ahead Challenge and their inaugural Literary Festival “Penned Up”.
