HMP Leyhill invited author Paul Zanon to talk to their leaners.

Paul is a best-selling author and journalist, his specialist subject is boxing, and so it turned out, it was our learners too.

Thirty learners listened to Paul speak for an hour and a half, a furious debate ensued about who is the greatest boxer of all time, and if Mohammed Ali could have beaten Mike Tyson, to name just a couple of topics covered.

Paul talked about how he started out writing, and inspired our learners to pick up a pen, as they all had something to say and stories to tell.

Paul donated 4 of his books to our education department, and they are all permanently out on loan!
